BSS Industrial is a specialist distributor of pipeline, heating and ventilation products serving customers across all industrial sectors within the UK and Ireland. The Core Systems Replacement programme is focused on the replacement of some of the existing systems with a package application (Kerridge K8) which will make additional functionality available, and match the growth plans for the Group.
The programme has adopted a phased implementation and rollout approach to minimise the net change impact on the business whilst maximising the level of client-feedback which can be used to ensure an evolution of the rollout process.
LOC Consulting were engaged by the board to review the programme at agreed, critical milestones using our proven programme healthcheck approach. This provides an independent view of the programme, highlighting key risks, issues and recommendations as well as defining alternate approaches to ensure delivery of the expected benefits upon which the business case is built. The initial review adopted a two stage approach:- Stage 1 - Programme Review and Analysis of Findings
- Stage 2 - Recommendations
LOC Consulting have successfully completed three reviews to-date, aligned with key programme milestones. We are scheduled to review the implementation approach early in 2008.
